Colleen Nachtrieb

Hello, I'm Colleen, a passionate creative director, with a deep experience in UX design and implementation. I’ve developed games for a diverse set of audiences, platforms and genres, spanning across 15+ titles. I've worked on original IP to the world's top IP brands such as Star Trek to Game of Thrones. I've built and managed teams of several different disciplines within the game industry: Art, UX design, and game design. I also love implementing, developing game flows and mechanics with the player experience front and center.

My Story

I'm most interested in making interactive experiences for diverse and broader audiences. In my time in the game industry I have worked as both an individual contributor across art, UX/UI design and game design, as well as department manager across those disciplines. Across several studios I have established UX design departments and set the standards for player centric design. I have a knack for setting up pro-production environments and developing new mechanics through testing and rapid prototyping. I help my teams through setting long term and immediate goals, as well as setting up templates examples, and reviews. I love getting in and crafting designs in game engines to prove out concepts with the audience to ensure the highest quality experiences.

Having the ability to build strong teams with effective creative strategies makes me a creative leader with an inspiring vision for the future interactive media.
